Welcome to Epilogues and Echoes. By placing an order through this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. About Us

Epilogues and Echoes is a UK-based small business specialising in Blind Date With a Book boxes, bookish gifts and reading accessories.

2. Products

We take great care to ensure all product descriptions and photographs are accurate. However, colours may vary slightly due to differences in screen settings and the handmade nature of some products.

Our Blind Date With a Book boxes are carefully curated based on the preferences and information you provide. While every effort is made to avoid duplicate books, we cannot guarantee this unless a full list of previously read or owned books is supplied.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Payment must be received in full before your order is processed.

We reserve the right to amend prices at any time, although this will not affect orders that have already been placed.

4. Processing & Delivery

Estimated processing times are between 3 - 5 days, unless stated otherwise.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to postal services. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch email with your tracking information, delays caused by the courier are outside our control.

Customers are responsible for providing the correct delivery address. We cannot accept responsibility for orders delivered to an incorrect address supplied by the customer.

5. Personalised & Custom Orders

Personalised and custom-made items are created specifically for you.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, personalised products are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period unless they are faulty or not as described.

Please check all personalisation details carefully before submitting your order.

6. Returns & Refunds

If you change your mind about a non-personalised item, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, in accordance with UK consumer law.

Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and returned within 14 days of notifying us.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before work has begun. Once a personalised item has entered production, it cannot be cancelled.

8. Intellectual Property

All photographs, product descriptions, branding, logos and website content remain the property of Epilogues and Echoes and may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission.

9. Liability

We will not be liable for delays or failure to fulfil an order caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including postal disruption, industrial action, severe weather or other events outside our control.
