Currently Reading: The Names by Florence Knapp

I’ve just started our latest book club read, The Names by Florence Knapp, and I’m already settling in for what I suspect is going to be a thought-provoking one.

It’s a story about identity, relationships, motherhood, choices and the paths our lives can take - and I’m really looking forward to seeing where it goes.

A little content warning

Before I get too far into the book, I wanted to add a little warning for anyone thinking of picking it up. There are no trigger warnings included in the book, and some of the early chapters contain themes and scenes involving domestic violence and postnatal depression. If these are subjects that may be difficult for you, please take care of yourself while reading. There’s absolutely no shame in skipping a chapter, taking a break or deciding that this isn’t the book for you.
